Our General Terms & Conditions apply to the Dutch Biomedical Optics Meeting organised by the University of Twente.

Cancellation fees

  • 26 February to 11 June: 100% cashback (Please note that we will deduct a €5,80 cancellation fee)
  • 12 June to 19 June: 0% cashback

FAQ

I’m a student. Can I join the event as well?

Absolutely! Bachelor’s and Master’s students from the University of Twente or other institutions are welcome to participate in the event.

Soon, there will be more information available about ticketing fees for students. 

Is it possible to participate in the event as a group?

That is definitely possible, and it’s great to hear that you would like to participate with multiple people from your organisation. This option is available for departments or research groups within the University of Twente, as well as for external organisations. Please note that a minimum number of tickets must be purchased.

I’ve registered myself via the ticketingpage, but I haven’t received a confirmation or invoice by email.

You likely registered using an email address linked to a medical organisation. These organisations often have very strict spam filters, which may block the confirmation email from the ticketing provider (Aanmelder).

The best solution is to update your email address in the registration form and confirm your registration again. You should then receive the confirmation email almost immediately. If you still don’t receive it, please email us and request the confirmation and invoice at: biomedical-optics-meeting@utwente.nl

Can I still register on the day of the event?

That depends on whether tickets are still available at that time. We will always communicate the current ticket availability on the website, so unfortunately, we can’t guarantee this.

If tickets are still available, you’ll be able to purchase one on the event day. Please note, however, that you won’t receive a printed badge, and we won’t be able to accommodate any allergies or special dietary requirements.

I’m only interested in one part of the programme, do I still need to purchase a full ticket?

Yes, a full ticket is required. The event is designed as a complete experience, and a ticket grants access to the entire programme, including all sessions, networking opportunities, and catering. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to purchase a ticket for just one specific part of the event, as we cannot monitor whether you would only attend that part and not make use of the other activities and catering.
